You want some French lessons but you do not want to be held inside a formal class room of a French language course. What can be your other recourse? Get your French passion going and get yourself into a French language self study course.
Self study does not mean that you will take everything all alone. Getting help is inevitable and help is available. You just have to be resourceful and open-minded. Follow some self-help tips as you take your French language self-study course.
1. Take advantage of informal French lessons. There are surely numerous offerings of French lessons outside of a French language school. Clubs, local community colleges, and even French companies may offer a free French language course. Be there and learn the most out of their limited lessons. 2. Surf for some online French lessons. There are many online French language courses. Basic lessons on vocabulary, grammar, verb lessons, and even pronunciation can be taken via the Internet route. It is much better if plug-ins for audio are utilized. Free online French language courses are also available. You just have to have lots of patience and have some computer search skills to get quality online French language courses.
3. Practice the language whenever and wherever you can. Exchange some French messages with French speakers. Use a forum as your site of inquiry and form questions in French. Start with simple questions until you can move to higher stages where you are able to form more complicated queries already. French chat rooms are also good for exposure in conversational French. Listen to or read conversations if you are not ready to participate yet. Then get it on. Have a chat with French speakers and other French language learners like you.
4. Expose yourself to spoken French. Listen to the spoken French language as much as you can. Devote a lot of time and a lot of attention to listen to French speaking situations. It will be faster and easier for you to have a working oral French language and also a fascinating French accent.
